Anne Guist, PT, ATC, CAPP-Pelvic, CAPP-OB

My passion is to help women and men recover from pelvic pain and dysfunction. I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum care, osteoporosis recovery and sexual dysfunction. I have over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer. My experience was in various areas of practice including Sports Medicine/Orthopedics, Neurology and Transitional care as well as Pelvic Health, which has helped me to see that healing involves more than just the physical body. Healing involves a connection between body, mind and spirit. I feel fortunate to work at Fitness Matters, where wellness and life long fitness and health is our mission. I am also a QiGong Core Centering Practitioner and use this in my practice to help balance the autonomic nervous system for pain control and improved healing. I am certified through the APTA for pelvic health and obstetric P.T. (CAPP-Pelvic and CAPP-OB), The Institute for Birth Healing, Meeks Method for Osteoporosis, Alcove for Vestibulodynia and Male Pelvic Pain and IRQTC for Core Centering. I enjoy the opportunity to work with others to help empower them to heal and be a better version of themselves!
