Jeannie Weger, PT, Pilates Instructor
Every individual deserves the enjoyment of movement without pain with improved function and quality of life. Movement experience can be improved through Physical Therapy and Pilates. I have a passion for improving a patient’s and client’s movement experience by looking at the whole body to look at imbalances, area of disability, and decreased function.
As a 1984 Graduate in Physical Therapy at OSU, I specialize in spine care/diagnosis, vestibular issues, osteoporosis or low bone density, and other orthopedic conditions. I have practiced as a Pilates teacher for 4 years. With my practice, I have integrated in my education and PT practice certifications in Mechanical Therapy and Diagnosis through McKenzie Institute, Dry Needling, and for Pilates I have certifications through Polestar Pilates Rehab Practitioner, Fletcher Pilates Comprehensive Program with Foundational program completed and working on Professional Program at present. I am also a National Certified Pilates Teacher.
My personal movement experience is enjoyed through hobbies of horseback riding, walking, and my personal practice of Pilates. I also enjoy being with my husband and family of three adult children and grandchildren. Having a great movement experience and improving quality of life through PT and Pilates is a goal of mine in treatment and care of my PT patients and Pilates clients.
