I have always loved physical activity, healthy competition, and the many life lessons that can be learned through sport. I participated in Men’s Soccer and Track and Field at Goshen College and Club Ultimate Frisbee at Miami University, but I enjoy learning about all kinds of athletic or physical endeavors. I earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health with honors at Miami.

I have developed a passion for utilizing strength and conditioning as a major tool in the rehabilitative process from sports injuries to chronic pain. I have been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for 25 years in the Columbus area. Many years of continuing education and practice focus consists of use of multiple exercise strategies, effective treatment of overuse injuries, post-operative rehab and movement analysis including use of video movement and running analysis. My approach generally consists of effective diagnosis of the source of pain, resolving that inflammation or source of pain, then developing an individualized treatment strategy to prevent recurrence of the issue.
